[JURIST] AP is reporting that the Senate has passed the revised conference version of the intelligence reform bill [PDF] adopted yesterday by the House.

St. Ives, Paris student of the civil law, advocate of the poor, and patron saint of lawyers died on May 19, 1303.

Mexico ratifies Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo

On May 19, 1948, Mexico ratified the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo. The treaty ended the Mexican-American War, and ceded roughly half of Mexico's territory to the United States.
